  • Gathiqo = Gathi (gathering) + qo (ecosystem). It's a gathering that works like an ecosystem — a connected community where vendors, planners, and ideas grow together naturally. Short version: the gathering ecosystem. Taglines we lean on: "Where communities grow together," "A living network of connections," "Gathering minds, growing ecosystems."

  • Private beta opens 16 July 2026 for waitlist members. Public launch follows in Q4 2026. Signing up now guarantees you early access and priority vendor reach-outs.

  • Yes — browsing, messaging, and comparing quotes is always free. You only pay the vendor for services you book. Deposits held in escrow are released when the event is confirmed.

  • Every vendor submits SSM business registration and a government-ID check before going live. We review portfolios, cross-check their public social activity, and monitor reviews for authenticity. Ghost accounts get removed.

  • Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor Bahru at beta. Categories: Catering, Photography, Decoration, Venues, Makeup & Bridal, Music & DJ, Videography, and Florists. More coming post-launch.

  • Absolutely. Halal certification is a first-class filter, not a tag. Same for vegetarian, vegan, and specific cuisines. Our filters reflect Malaysia's diversity, not a Western default.

  • Social platforms show you photos; Gathiqo shows you verified vendors with pricing, availability, and real reviews. No sliding into DMs hoping for a reply. No price haggling in Malay-Chinese-English mix. You get quotes in writing, in one place.
